Statoil, the most competent deep marine driller in the world hits a 'mother lode' - well done!
Hope lots of people make money and the flow of cash into the Brasilian economy goes where it is most needed (and that's not into the pockets of politicians).

My point is: You're an idiot (brain dead).
You're bragging how great a foreign company is (but forgot it's government control), while in the land you live (as you claim) wants the same thing, but than it's bad..evil, bla bla (remember the conversation about vale)

as I typed many times here geotard, you're left vs right nonsense in your head is poison for you. Problem is, you're to old to change.

I'm afraid you miss the point again.

The key point is that the strike was made in Brasilian EEZ, thus there will be proportionate income-flow to the Brasilian economy. This is good. My warning was that it should go where needed - not into the pockets of corrupt politicians. The transparency of the new Brasilian oil management agency will be tested each and every time such capital returns come to Brasil.

Statoil (irrespective of its balance of state/private ownership) is the best deep marine oil extractor in the world. Petrobras is the best in Brasil.
Vale (irrespective of its balance of state/private ownership) is the most successful in Brasil/world, at what Vale does.

When these companies succeed - hail their success.
