Weak jobs data, sliding retail sales and rising inflation confirm Spain’s economic recovery is faltering. The official figures released Friday showed 21.3% of the workforce without a job, up from 20.3% at the end of last year. Read full article

    150m working age
    100m in work
    23m pay taxes

    So, if
    ‘everybody is now middle class’ in Brasil,
    the economy is booming,
    the GDP is going through the roof . . . .

    Why is it so few people pay taxes to support the 160million who pay no tax but just receive benefits?
