He needs reminding that this was a Government referendum, not an election - and one that has split the county, virtually 50:50, down the middle.
Anybody taking bets that he will declare
I will treat the results of the referendum as a package and will not stoop to pick and chose which ones to adopt and which ones to disregard - you, my people have given me the support I need to decide all matters of future government, on your behalf. The Ecuadorian people have spoken!”
