Now why do you think it is that Venezuela, Iran, Libya, Ecuador, Angola, Algeria and Nigeria blocked the OPEC Agreement to ease oil flows to the developed world?

It looks like we have a new gang in the playground, and these boys are not good boys.
Lets hope the teachers can protect the kids and keep the gang from taking over the playground.

I think you got a letter wrong - it should read U*N*.

And, even then, you have the rationale wrong.

But, what the heck, if you want to believe Venezuela, Iran, Libya, Ecuador, Angola, Algeria and Nigeria are the 'good guys' . . . .

Just another rigged game. I guess I'll saddle up, ride into town and get a bottle of guaro. Got a nice breeze today so the batteries will get good and charged for the hacienda.I had to go on grid last night to keep my freezers kicked in. Damnit. Aiding the enemy sucks.

Nice try Geotard, I don't believe and never typed here that those “boys” are the good guys. Neither the UK and US..though you can't admit that as usual but try hard to spin it into the the UN. Just shows more how braid dead you are.

    There is ONLY the UN Mandate;
not wishful thinking by the USA,
or the 'desire to help the oppressed by the UK.
Just a mandate that says protect the people from Gadhaffi but do not kill him in the process (except by accident or if it is done by the Libyans themselves, perhaps).
There is an African Union Proposal, backed by China, that gives Gadhaffi a way out, but he prefers, at this time, not to use it. I guess when he runs out of 'bullets' he will leave with his family.

( . . . . and wtw, a braid is dead by definition. . . except for the heavy metal group, and many people wish they were too.
Or do you just have a cold in the doze?)

Pff, come on geoff. UN in they Libya case is US, UK, France ..the good guys right? Oh yeah..they truly care about those poor Libyans..oh heaven they're dying, how terrible, we've “got” to save them.

I guess when he runs out of 'bullets' he will leave with his family.

And I guess soon or later he will go to France or the UK. ahh yes.

I'm meant...you're brain dead, but of course you don't realize that yourself..it's normal for you.

    Hi Fido,
a bright sunny, clear winter's morning here, calm seas & 28 degrees as the sun rises.

I guess Ghaddafi could face an international trial like Miladic but, because he is not (apparently) killing racial groups or specified other nationalities, he may escape a War Trial.

France? UK? Probably not; he would not be safe there from refugee Libyans who would want him dead.
Zimbabwe, maybe; in a secret compound (like binLaden) he might be safe from asassination.

Bin Laden ? The only compound he had was a deep freezer since 2002.
They pulled him out for a photo session to guarantee Osam...... I mean Obama's second term.
