    Agie THICKOS above- Exactly the same will ahppen in Buenos Aires when it to reopens for flights- not eveyone will be able to get on the first flights after the build up of cancelled flights.
    So here, we educated British folks, simply organise ourselves into a priority system of those who have the most urgent need to travel first get seats on the first flight etc. Then the less urgent wait until the next one and by the end of a few days all is normal again.
    I assume you uneducated hysterical fantasisers just mob and riot at the checkin desks instead?

    Argentina refuses to extradite criminal to Israel
    Posted - 03/27/07 04:22

    Citing technicalities, the Argentina Supreme Court has again refused the extradition request made by Israel to send back a convicted murderer and felon who escaped on a forged passport.

    The Argentine Government today denied a request by the newly installed Paraguayan Government to extradite its former military chief. The former official is accused of having ordered the assassination of the Paraguayan Vice President.

    Argentina refuses to extradite ex-junta leader for 'dirty war' crime

    A criminal law court on Tuesday rejected Germany's extradition request for Videla, wanted in the March 1977 kidnapping and killing of activist Elisabeth Kaesemann. The court ruled crimes committed in Argentina are first subject to its judiciary

    An Argentine court on Tuesday refused to extradite Chilean ex-guerrilla Sergio Apablaza Guerra, who is wanted in his country on charges of slaying a senator in 1991.

    Federal Judge Claudio Bonadio issued his ruling on Monday and ordered Apablaza's immediate release on the grounds that he would not be assured due process if sent to Chile, noting that some of the requirements specified in extradition legislation had not been met.

    But some Chileans accused Argentina of tarnishing its human rights legacy by defending a man accused of assassinating a sitting senator during a democratic government. Both crimes occurred in 1991, after the end of the 1973-1990 dictatorship of Gen. Augusto Pinochet.

    There are not many Latinos living in the colder parts of Argentina, it's mainly Northern Europeans. On the same basis that Argentina claims the Falkland Islands, we could claim Southern Argentina, after all we helped settle it and we built all the railways, we built towns and farms. Some of my Welsh ancestors set sail on the Candelaria to settle those lands almost 200 years ago, when I was there a few years back, they didn't seem to happy with the Argentine government and the hot headed morons who had run the country for the past 60+ years! It's time we liberated them, they told me they would welcome it! And much of Southern Argentina is closer to the Falkland Islands, than Buenos Aires. I think there would be a good case in the UN for decolonising Southern Argentina from the hot heads in Buenos Aires. We can then grand them independence as the Republic of Pategonia. Reducing the threat to the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands at the same time.

    64 we dont like foreigner invaders
    and roberts about the desert conquest that was internal conflicts that we resolved how we could at that time. in 1810 there were 6000 spaniards less than 1 % and 700.000 inhabitants in between natives, criollos and mestizos = argentines. This last people fought for independence from spain and also against brothers others natives in Patagonia. we also have wars against others countries in the continent internal problems like two brothers fihghting for whatever, different it comes when foreigners europeans come here pretending to have something that never could have belonged to them. at least Patagonia its a free land if not today it would be an usurpated land dependent of a foreigner country

    “we dont like foreigner invaders”

    “all he wanted was to steal america... same as the spanish”

    Considering you Argies are mostly Spanish, that looks like a brilliant example of Argie doublethink.

    Nicholas has really lost it this time! He would make Think a Baron! A dedicated communist like Think becoming part of the aristocracy. His red mates would liquidate him!
    @74 J.A.Roberts,
    There's no doublethink like Argy doublethink! -btw J.R., are you related to the Lincolnshire Roberts clan?(thats assuming your name IS Roberts & not a nom-de-plume).

    @78 Think,
    Beneath the chest of a revolutionary beats the heart of a conservative.
    Beneath the chest of a socialist beats the heart of a would be Duke or Baron.
    l guess that l'm the opposite.
    Beneath my conservative chest beats the heart of a born Rebel.
    l believe that l was pretty uncontrollable at school.
