The US embassy in Buenos Aires announced this week that the Argentine government has finally returned the cargo seized from an American military plane that landed at the Ezeiza airport amidst espionage accusations last February. Read full article
You don't read much, do you MoreCrap? Just the headlines. The US State Department's attitude has not changed in decades, and was much the same before 1982. That attitude is to support the notion of 'negotiations', nothing more.
Argentina continually shoots itself in the foot. l think its about time we took over and ran the country for them. Besides l want NicoDim as my gardener!
I too read the article as the Argentine Government taking on the US and realising it takes more than a big ego to achieve success on that front. Slapped wrists indeed.
@5 so Isolde, How much would it be to run the country? let's say 5 years with a 30 day out? As far as Nico doing anything with El Campo ?... it will definitely affect your management proposal ...... ;-))
@9Artillero601,
By your posts you seem the most logical Argentine on here.
l'm sure we could find work in higher management for you.
lf we made you Superintendant of Parks & Gardens, you could be Nico's boss(& others like Marcos, Axel etc).
Tristan and Isolde - locked in an Arthurian lovelorn tryst for a lifetime of separation.
Our very own Heloise and Abelard (Pere-Lachaise Cemetery in Paris; next grave to Jim Morrison).
I guess we have found your real name, Art. . . . . Tristan!
come on Isolde !! my napoleonic complex would not allow such a position !! Make me a 5 star general and give a job at the UN, I love Manhattan !!! Deal?
@11 & 12 etc,
You all presume far too much, l was merely offering the man a responsible job if(when?)we take over the running of Argentina.
@13,
l would if l could, alas & alack, l do not have such power.
(but who is going to run Parks & Gardens? we want someone who will make NicoDin actually do some work!).
@16Artillero601,
lf l, personally am running the country, then the job is yours!
But l want results. Failure means banishment to Chubut, where you can have many a cosy fireside chat with Sr Think.
