According to recently released document the government of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher wanted Scotland to crash out of the 1982 World Cup in Spain in an attempt to avoid a diplomatic headache over the Falklands conflict. Read full article

    No disrespect to our Scottish cousins but this was one headache unlikely to occur. It makes sense for it to be discussed in advance but not much of a story.

    Has anyone been watching the Copa America? I watched the match last night with a group of Chilean friends in Santiago...... twas a good result. : )
