How come the European Union supposedly has such high standards for food security, yet it's the one exporting food bacteria to the world over?

Poland is quite right to insist upon high food standards in Europe. After all, they've allowed us to trace the source of the seeds to Egypt. Apparently.

    Sounds reasonable to me.
The additional costs bringing third party production and secondary systems in line with those required within the EU will be reflected in the prices paid to third party countries, and will therefore not massively impact on the prices received by farmers etc within the EU.
    Seems only right and just.
