Jul 18th, 2011 - 04:35 pm - Link - Report abuse 0This is excellent. Investigation shows that the Voyager can carry 300 troops and their personal equipment AND refuel other aircraft at the same time. Even better, it's range is actually 9,200 miles. So UK to the Falklands with no refuelling stops and refuelling the accompanying Typhoons at the same time. Just imagine, 14 Voyagers, 10 with troops, 4 with equipment. Transport of 3,000 troops and their equipment plus refuelling of 4 Typhoons per Voyager en route. Falklands reinforcement - 3,000 troops plus equipment plus 56 additional Typhoons, all in one go!
