    she was or is not right for his ideology he stands for. This proves him that she does indeed stronger than Mr Lula and cleans up the corruption mess, no matter who gets hurts. This only strenghtens her in the long term.

    Wrong Lula replacement for the right reasons.
    Right Lula replacement for the wrong reasons.
    ?
    She is the antithesis of what he stood for, and so is good in my eyes;
    she is an (ex-)terrorist, and so bad in my eyes;
    she abhors corruption, and so is good in my eyes;
    she is a poor politicial 'fixer', and so is bad in my eyes;
    she 'talks-turkey' with the opposition, and so is good in my eyes;
    she is not a rabble-rousing bombastic, and so is good in my eyes;
    she props up CFK in public, and so is bad in my eyes;
    she sees malpractice and punishes it, and so is good in my eyes;
    she rarely engages with 'the people', and so is bad in my eyes;
    . . . .
    . . . .

    We have truely hatched a Curates Egg with this Presidenta,
    but her good bits are so much better than Lula's,
    so that,
    on balance and for the moment,
    she is 'My Presidenta'.

    I gotta admit, she surprised me, it's always good to watch rotten applees fall, be it for a good reason or not.

    I'm still a little afraid of some of her more... extreme views, specially on development (like creating 2 dams that will flood an area, almost the size of Portugal, of the Amazon Forest but will only produce a fairly tiny quantity of power).

    But when it comes to administration, she is doing well, causing trouble and fights sure, but she is doing what is best for the people and country, which is creating an effective, honest and cheaper government.

    I don't know if she will be successful, or if she will end up giving up along the way, but it's nice to see someone trying, maybe it's the good side of having someone who had never been a politician before in power.
