Aug 29th, 2011 - 05:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And your point is????? Actually it's none of your business how many adults FIOGA thinks provide appropriate support for children and young people competing overseas.
Are you going Teacher M.?
Aug 29th, 2011 - 05:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Once again the indoctrinated, argie losers show their jealousy,
Aug 29th, 2011 - 05:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Because the commonwealth will have a great time, great games, great comradeship,
And guess what
Argentina won’t be there,
And the air is thick with envy,
Ah to be British .

Aug 29th, 2011 - 05:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Judging by their previous results, Laura, Sofia, Jordan and Dominic will need all the support they can get from those officials……….................and a lot more.
You are sending those youngsters to compete against far superior adversaries for political figuration an that can very well ruin their joy for the sport………
Take it from an old player that won several epic matches against Poul-Erik Høyer-Larsen (until he became 17 :-)

or just pure jealousy pure jealousy,
Marcos Prat- Mike Summers is born and bred Islander for more generations than at least 20 million Argentines can claim to Argentina!
Aug 29th, 2011 - 08:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Shows your callous attitude to 14-15yr olds going 8000 miles from the home country if you would not send some adults to help them! 1 or 2 of those adults at least will be full time assiting with games organsizing and operations - only 1 or 2 will actually be with the youngsters.
Of course we will not be at the Olympics - only Independent nations compete there - and the chances of us making the min standards would be pretty slim even if we were Independent!
Think, yes you have a point, we do like to beseen at these events - and usually attract a lot more support from the home crowds to!
Competion - these are 5 tough youngsters - they know they are not going to win anything much if anything - but they do know they are going to get one heck of a lot of EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE from playing aganist and talking with some pretty experienced top youngsters from the bigger countries. Commonwealth Games are known as the friendly games. And that experience and knowledge is what they are after!

Aug 29th, 2011 - 11:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Wrong again, you feeble stalker. Not half-Chilean and not a teacher ;-)
I've known quite a few people who've competed in overseas games and got soundly beaten, but as long as they win the points or goals they were hoping for or extend their personal bests they seem to find it a positive experience.
I do think you Argentines are a bitter and twisted lot. How you could find anything negative to say about this is beyond me. I know you don't like it. Islanders getting uppity and being seen in public always does get up your noses. Time to man up and get over it.
17 Monty69 ? When did I say that you are half Chilean?
