It is a common mistake in the English Argentina's claims over the islands are limited to Peronism and the current President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and well before the Peronism from 1833 onwards.
All Argentine political spectrum from right to left Cristina Kirchner will criticize for being too soft and dialogical in the UK to establish a State policy on disarmament and non-violence and opt for dialogue and peace among peoples , claiming in multilateral institutions like the UN, OAS, UNASUR. The fact is that Argentina has decreased significantly reducing their military spending to the essentials only. This contrasts with the aggressive arms of Great Britain and the current president of Argentina has been able to increase your social consensus and the fact demonstrated by the success in recent primaries where he earned more than 50% of the vote. But that obsession is actually convinced of all Latin American and Argentine.

I lived through the years of social upheaval and change that Margaret Thatcher brought about. It was as painful as it was necessary.

She was lambasted, pilloried, ridiculed and parodied throughout her political career and through her retirement.

Even in her dying years as an increasingly senile, aged individual this knifing of one of the greatest Prime Ministers and world statesperson continues.

Be thankful, Argentina, that you only have Clarin to concern you - REAL media cruelty is much, much more than you have ever experienced.

1 I could put you right but who cares what stupid tossers like you think.
2 Kirchner is fit to lace Maggie's boots.
    3 Boring tosser. Yawn.
4 Completely agree with you Mr Ward. Maggie Thatcher was one of the most courageous PM's this Country has ever had. I don't think we will ever see her like again.

Raul - the only place that is of any relevance is the ICJ. Why don't you take you claim there if you are serious about it? Not a hard question to answer really, especially as we are costly being accused by Argentina of illegal acts in the FI.

10 Raul---- Stop talking out of your arse and answer Beefs question if you can, after all according to Argentina she has all the proof needed to get her dirty little fingers on the Falklands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep cant see Argentina rushing to go to court, could it be that like you she always talks out of her arse and knows that the ICJ would have a good old laugh at Argentina's expense and that future would be political leaders could never again wheel out the good old Falklands belongs to us speeches that gets them votes, funny since the elections not much has been said about the Falklands isn't it. Argentinian people are so easily led they are like sheep.

Raul - the reason that the ICJ is the only place for you to go is that every other place you winge at has no jurisdiction to rule on the validity of your claim or the validity of British Soverignty.

You bunch of spanners also accuse us of illegal acts. The last time I checked determining legality or illegality is the purpose of a court of law and as this would be the case of one nation accusing another of illegal behaviour then the court with jurisdiction is the ICJ.

Why then do you not take your claim to the ICJ? If you can't put up then shut up and stick your claim where the sun doesn't shine!

Well this article has certainly drawn the rabid failed abortions from Argentina like a psychotic moth to a flame.........Not one bit braincell I can see has been used....have any of the daygo lunatics answered the question or provided a valid point? Nope...master kebab aka Nicodume still obsessives over his boyfriend muhhamed, more crap after many years of expensive treatment by his prents still cannot produce his own opinion.....and we have a few new idiots who have escaped from the abortion bucket as well!

So is it offensive, well thats comedy for you, 1/2 half will offend 1/2 will amuse...however is it comedy to be taking the piss out of a frail senile 85 woman? Answer no..... but channel 4's versions of “British comedy” has always been in very poor taste and wholly underpar with such “comedy” acts as Bo'selecta (moron walking around in masks making funny noises), Shameless (annoying Manchurians saying f**k and Sh*t every second sentence, Russel Brand's ponderland (pretentious knob obsessed with himself with illusions that he is funny), Alan carr the tooth ferry, (annoying gay man, who thinks that playing a gay stereotype and acting like a complete Screamer is oh so funny) and so on an so forth......

British comedy nowadays has plummeted downhill, there is no good intelligent well written script anymore or tanelented comedians to carry it out, the basic plot lines nowadays involve lots of swearing and sex and making the characters as ridiculous as possible in the vain hope that some base line moron fines a lager swilling fag smoking Manchurian saying “F**k” hillarious......

marcos you make a good point. The british press always attack the royal family and make prince charles look like a fool, but it isn't true - prince charles criticizes the stupidity of politicans and he has strong opinions about british culture but what he says is usually correct - its just that the royal family are easy targets for the british press because the royal family never answer back.
Anybody who is an easy target in britain is always made a fool of by the despicable british media and unscrupulous cowardly politicians.

Raul - the reason that the International Court of Justice is the only place you go is that elsewhere in Winge has no jurisdiction to rule on the validity of his claim or the validity of British sovereignty

    Thank you answer my question.
I believe in my humble opinion, is a trap, does not yet have sufficient guarantees of impartiality and is heavily influenced in their decisions by the United States and England and their factors of economic and military power powerful.
Also, if hypothetically fail entirely in favor of Argentina giving the reason their claims to sovereignty Does the UK obey the ruling?
Answer me that question, ¿He would give the Falkland Islands to Argentina if the International Court of Justice ruled in his favor?

So why not take your complaint to the International Court of Justice? If you can not put then close and put the demand where the sun do not shine!

Because he always mocks and insults people who disagree with you. In his comments there is always calling and never reason or intellect. I'm really asking a lot from you.

“Does the UK obey the ruling?”

The UK is one of few nations who take ICJ rulings as binding law.

“So why not take your complaint to the International Court of Justice?”

We don't have a complaint. We have the islands. It's Argentina who wants something from us. We've also tried to take Argentina to the ICJ over it and you refused.

“heavily influenced in their decisions by the United States and England and their factors of economic and military power powerful.”

In 1955, when Britain unilaterally referred the case to the ICJ, one of the judges was Argentine.

Ho hum, so much for alleged bias.

But then Argentina does have a habit of losing in the ICJ. As others have pointed out the UK has always abided by ICJ judgements, whereas Argentina hasn't.

    Beagle Channel Dispute for example.

And the same maps that screwed up Argentina's case in the Beagle Channel case, back Britain's claim. Argentine maps.

With all due respect: Because he's so arrogant? Much time has passed since 1833, a conflict of sovereignty, invaded England three times to Argentina and there was a war in 1982.
Why is afraid to talk with those who disagree with you?
    Dear Zeth:
Leave the hatred, this conflict is not resolved with resentment and revanchism. Resolved with confidence, peace and dialogue.
As the world public opinion is internalized more than Falklands conflict, many countries are sympathetic to the claim of sovereignty. And even within the UK believe it is possible to reach an agreement acceptable to both parties. Just so long to see newspapers and Web specialists in the subject.

41 Raul (#)------You can still speak Spanish we wont stop you doing that, BUT we must insist that when Argentina becomes British you swear allegiance to Britain, all Argentina's assets will became British assets. On the plus side for you, you will have true democracy and we will not stop you from stepping foot on any Falkland soil as you have now become British, all shipping from the Falklands will be docking in ports of New Britain, we have decided to rename Argentina New Britain. It was decided to rename Argentina New Britain as the world only knows Argentina as a lying despicable cheating country with long established corrupt political leaders, and it is seen that Britain who has a very good name in the world CANNOT be associated with the name Argentina.

One more plus for the citizens of New Britain is that they have come under the protection fromthe mother country Britain and as such Britain will protect them if they come under attack from any country that invades them. The only down side to this is that for the moment no former Argentine citizen will be allowed to join the British armed forces as the British Armed forces have a long history of bravery and until the former citizens of Argentina prove their metal it is deemed that they are not fit to fight along side very brave soldiers.

On the plus side for England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland they can choose from the influx of former Argentine footballers who have now become British citizens, although that cheating bastard Maradona will not be allowed to have anything to do with England, if Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland want to employ him, well that's up to them, but I would remind them that he is a former cheat and drug addict whose nose is always running.

I am sure this new arrangement will suit everyone as I am sure that everyone is sick to death of all the arguing over the Falklands and the rest of the Islands that belong to Britain, and in one stroke I have resolved the matter.

    Lets just agree to disagree.
To the many other Argentinians - I sometimes admire your honest exchanges and on occasions share your sense of humour.
But back to the supercilious Kirchner sycophants and assorted facists - Change your mindset, come up with a few remotely acceptable ideas and we'll see where we go. Try and get into your thick skulls that nearly 200 years of possession amounts to a lot more than just nine tenths of the law.

58 Marcos Alejandro------ I have long thought you to be a prat and now that comment about Maradona's second goal confirms it. While the cheating coke snorting bastard cheated with his first goal( what can we expect from an Argentine) his second goal was out of this world and many English football supporters will tell you this. Its just a pity that the cheating coke snorting bastard could not have played by the rules for his first goal, but then the whole world knows that Argentine does not play by the rules in anything or she would drop that ridiculous assumption that the Falklands belongs to her.

Now getting back to New Britain has we now call the former colony of Spain, we have exiled the former president the wicked witch of the South to spend the rest of her days of her life in a remote part of the Falklands and in one stroke of the pen we have made everyone in New Britain far more wealthy than they have ever been by confiscating her assets and her money and giving it back to the people each person in New Britain is more wealthy by £5,000. Her assets have paid for new hospitals all over New Britain with state of the art equipment. We have also found hidden assets that have paid for the clear up and new housing for over two million new subjects of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 long may she reign over every one. The two million subjects are of course from the slums in the former capital Buenos Aires that is now called New London.

I have to apologize of course to our friends in the Falklands for sending the Wicked Witch Of The South them but we could not find anyplace else that would have her now that she is broke and she has always desired the Falklands and now she has her wish forfilled. Please treat her with the respect that she deservers as a former president of a country that wanted to enslave you, nod wink wink nod.

Yes Raul one of the bests articles I read showing us the truth through the eyes of an intelligent african man.
Others you can read : Oil and water
    www.opednews.com/articles/2/The-GMMR-Project-Libya-s-by-Frances-Thomas-110901-229.html
And what is happenning now is not peaceful co-existence but a serious weakness (the west is hungry and wont loose the opportunity) of which the end result could be the annihilation of the african continent and its people.

I have not seen this been so probritish Pasquin and Uruguayan any article of “The Train of free peoples,” by Cristina Pepe opened this week. Too bad.

True, not really representative of the average half in London.
Nor is Uruguayan, this blog is operated by an English lobby in parliament and the oil companies on Wall Street.
“The train of free peoples” It's fantastic, a fact that South America, slowly begins to awaken as a unified nation and wanted to Bolivar, San Martin O 'Higgins, Artigas, Sucre, and so on.
It's just ......... cuetion time and see it with MERCOSUR AND UNASUR ..

@ 79 lol when did San Martín say that he wanted Argentina to disappear so it can be part of a New Nation? we are a nation already, it's called Argentina :) If something like you are saying happens, Cristina, Mujica, Dilma and the others will be eliminated, no doubt about it.
I told you before Falklanders, if you see an Argentine floating on his way to the Falklands, shoot him before it's too late, these maniacs like Raúl are worse than the Black Death. If one of these creatures like Raúl reaches your home, you will be sentenced and bound to be exterminated.

@ 77 malen, drinking your urine again?

Don't forget that traditionally Argentina has a flexible relationship with truth, you only have to look at their claim over the Falklands. When the truth is inconvenient make something up.

    Example.

The truth. HMS Clio anchored in Port Louis and after an exchange of notes the Argentine garrison left without a shot fired. Vernet's settlement continued after the British return and the British did not settle the Falklands till 1841.

The Argentine version. The British arrived with overwhelming force and in a brutal attack expelled the Argentine settlement, replacing it with Brits.

Lol @ 79 San Martin when he said he wanted Argentina to disappear so you can be part of a new nation? we are a nation that was already, called Argentina:) If something like that happens you are saying, Cristina Mujica, Dilma and others will be eliminated, without a doubt.

San Martin gave his curved saber Juan Manuel de Rosas, the tenacious defense of the sovereignty of Argentina against the third invasion of England (formerly 1806.1807) and French on November 20, 1845 in the “forced return”.
From the meeting of St. Martin and Simon Bolivar in Guayaquil (Ecuador) agreed to fight together for unification into a single country in South America.

Islanders I told you before, if you see a fleet Argentina on their way to the Falklands, shoot him before it's too late, these crazy like Raul are worse than the Black Death. If one of these creatures as Raul comes home, you will be condemned and ordered to be exterminated

Pitiful and pathetic your comment. If I come home from an island, the first thing I would do is apologize at 1982, which were dominated by a fascist dictatorship that fell, we suffered 30,000 missing and that the islanders and I, each in its own way, we were victims and contemplating with all due respect we suffered three invasions English, that the problem of sovereignty goes far back in the past, that those islands Vivian Argentinos expelled from the islands in 1833 for his country (UK) the claim since. I would ask you to help us consider a solution that would satisfy both parties, both Argentine and British and that despite differences, transitáramos together the way we were taught Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and John Lennon, who surely would reach an agreement that example to the world of peaceful resolution of conflicts. Without further greet him with consideration.
