Uruguay announced it will invest 150 million dollars for the eradication of shanty towns, 90% of which are located in Montevideo, half of them in contaminated and flood-prone areas. Read full article

    “676 shanty towns” ??? is that right??? in Uruguay??? I didn't know there were so many shanty towns in Uruguay, when I go to Montevideo or Colonia I don't see shanty towns, where are they?
