Britons and French most pessimistic about economic prospects shows Ipsos Mori world survey

Britons are among the most pessimistic in the world about their country’s economic prospects, it was revealed this week. Just 9% of respondents in the Ipsos MORI survey expect an improvement in their economy in six months’ time, a figure only beaten by the French with 3%. Read full article

    Yes. British inflation has risen to 4.4%. French inflation for 2011 is averaging 1.94%. And Argentina's inflation is at around 25%. That's good.

    I've got that right, haven't I? The higher your inflation rate, the better off you are, yes?
