With a smaller population than Spain car sales in Argentina are now ahead of the European country.A truly remarkable acheivement by the Kirchner governments.The rate of growth is quite extraordinary as Europe and North America head for another recession.
I would think it has more to do with pent up demand from 2001-2007 than a strong economy.
Too bad the gov't didn't plan for more cars on the highways or parked in BA.
It is pretty much a nightmare now to drive in metro BA. Even worse than it was and that is saying a lot! 5 lanes 7-8 cars across, people driving in the break down lane and so many cars in such bad condition they shouldn't be on the road in the first place.

Most of the world drove or rode their horses on the left side of the road until Napoleon began marching his men on the right.
The USA drove on the left until about 1905.
ltaly until 1945
Czechoslovakia until 1938
Sweden until 1965
Many more, l could go on.
Bit silly, really. We should all drive on the same side, whatever it is.
l sometimes drove trucks in the Philippines & found it easy because l used my right hand to change gear as l'm right-handed.
PNG was harder using my left hand. Thank God for an air-assisted clutch on the bigger lsuzus!
