China and the UK are to develop an offshore trading hub for the Yuan based in London. UK Chancellor George Osborne confirmed the agreement after meeting with Chinese vice-premier Wang Qishan in London. Read full article

Now I know the UK is a set of islands off the coast of continental Europe, but to call it an 'Offshore trading hub' seems to diminish the largest foreign-exchange trading centre in the world to the size and (dubious) status of The Cayman Islands, Jersey or The Isle of Man.
