    A Foreign Office initiative ?

I find that unlikely. So - “ ... Who asked for the Foreign Office to provide some reassurance?...”

Rotted, Not only you post a home made article, you don't read it!

“The obvious answer would be Rockhopper who desperately need the reinforcement in order to negotiate with the money men. But I’m not so sure. The Foreign Office have a history of viewing the Falklands as a nuisance; an irritation to better relations with South America and Brazil in particular. It is very well-known that the present British Government wish to dramatically improve their relationship with South America’s big performer. Even in the face of Brazil’s support for Argentina”

Interesting that even Argentinians recognise Brazil as the pre-eminent nation in South America.
Does Argentina have any significance at all?

#4 & 6: Brazil supports our South Atlantic Islands' claims, not only by word but by action, as some might have recently noted. This shows some love. Chileans are instead traitors to the South American cause which, one day, will 'do' them. It is only a question of time...

Argy boy please don't lick Brazils boots with such relish.
Sooner or later they will stab you in the back and f--k you up the arse.
You know it and we know it.
Its only a question of time.

FlipFlop and Guano - are you sure ??

Looks like some of the 'Majors' are getting interested in Rockhopper. Particularly now that the shares are looking cheap :-)
