The head of the IMF for the Western Hemisphere Department Nicolás Eyzaguirre discards an outflow of capitals from Latin America as a consequence of the current global situation and pointed out that the region’s position is solid. Read full article

Like Europe in 'global financial crisis', LATAM will suffer from capital flight more in some nations than others.

LATAM may be considered as 'overall solid'
but some individual nations are as solid as quicksand on a rainy day.

Now we are moving into a period of serious protectionism, the capital outflows might get quite serious for some.
