President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner showed “improvement” after suffering from a bout of hypotension Tuesday and will resume presidential activities as of Thursday, said doctors from the Government House.

Presidential Medical Unit Doctor Marcelo Ballesteros stated, “The Nation’s President, Dr Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, is showing signs of improvement after suffering from hypotension yesterday, forcing her to cancel all official appointments.”

As a precaution the President has been recommended to rest for another day and resume activities on Thursday.

The Presidency Secretary General Oscar Parrilli who is usually the first person CFK meets every morning to discuss the daily agenda and activities, remained Wednesday at his office in the Casa Rosada where he held several meetings.

On Tuesday CFK was scheduled to attend the opening of a state of the art printing and graphics plant which recently acquired new equipment from Italy valued at over 4 million dollars with government support.

The plant is part of the Argentine policy of substituting imports. Precisely books have been retained by Customs and informed verbally of the matching dollar for dollar import/export scheme the country applies to promote Argentine jobs and the domestic market. The policy is already effective for the auto and pharmaceutical industries.

The Argentine president has not been seen in public since last Friday when she headed a rally next to Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli and officially opened the re-equipped “Alberto Ballestrini” hospital and other public works.

From the rally the President and her family flew to her private residence in El Calafate, Patagonia where she spent the weekend before returning to Buenos Aires Monday with her daughter Florencia.

Hypertension, caused by anxiety - Hmmm i wonder what shes so nervous about, perhaps the british Back Off statement has her worried lol.

Or perhaps she just didn't fancy doing any work and wanted to spend the day trying out the 20 new pairs of shoes she bought in the US for $5,000 per pair.

I hope someone takes charge on CFK when she flies away from Argentina, and of course, to never allow her to see the light of the sun again.
