Sr. Chavez will become increasingly glad of the power of the pain-killing drugs with which he is being injected and infused.

He may develop serious psychological problems as his desire for cleanliness becomes compromised by cancer - his increasing smell and his incontinence.

If he is not very careful, his increasing psychological disturbance could make for very bad governance of the nation.

    - a problem compounded by his policy of removing from government circles and national administration, individuals of competence with a capacity for independent action.

Whilst he still has a semblence of mental acuity, he would be well advised to gather together the best administrators still alive, and prepare them for the process of a post-Chavez, truly democratic governance.

Geoffward,...You wrote: “Whilst he still has a semblence of mental acuity...”

He never was what we call “Normal”. But the things he has done being “Normal” , just imagin what he will do when losing his mental stability.
    God forbid.
