Yes, like Argentine politicians never travel abroad. Mrs Kirchner was in sunny Cannes on October 31st.

An interesting development. Representatives of a successful British Overseas Territory visiting a country that used to be British but is now a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. What will they learn? Will they, like Jamaicans, wish they were still a British territory? Will they understand that progress is possible, especially as they have no belligerent neighbours? That they have friendly neighbours in other British Overseas Territories such as Anguilla and Montserrat. Also the Turks and Caicos and the British Virgin Islands.

Never mind, we Brits and the people of our Territories are always willing to help others. Isn't that in the UN Charter? Still, we do it because that's the way we are. And the people of our Territories are much the same.

Some similarities with the Falklands. Both the British and the French colonised the islands. And they got along quite well. Who came along to try to grab the lot? The Spanish. That was 382 years ago. Didn't get it. How to foretell the future!

you can trace your roots back to the first english intruders, yes because you are descendants of colonizators that have expelled the habitants and authorities that were living there.

You see what I did there? I copied and pasted what you said, but I changed the word English with the word Spanish and it is still factually correct and relevant to the European settlers in Argentina.

well you are very bad trying to copy ours(nuestra) history to yours (ustedes). Its just the opposite case.
I (yo) can trace my roots back to the first natives & (also) mixes with spanish intruders. The colonizators in Argentina didnt expell the population original from the region (more than 20 tribes), on the contrary they subjugated them to work for them. And in 1800 europeans were sent to their home. Thats where they should go.
And if you begin with that of Patagonia, let me remember that was a theme between argentinians against argentinians.
So as you (usted) see what you say is factually very wrong and incorrect about european settlers in Argentina and in South america (we have all the same history).

Now that's a coincidence Mad'un, the British didn't expell any original population from the Islands in 1833 either.

Well done Malen on your ancestor settling down with a local South American! So you are saying that every single Argentine can trace his ancestors back to the orginal inhabitants of Patagonia/South America...that is quite a claim Malen, one that I would love for you to prove!

My ancestor arrived in the Falklands in the mid 1800s and settled. No implantation and no removal of “original inhabitants” (as there were none!).

You make subjugation sound like a pleasant relationship! I bet your subjugated ancestors were paid well and were given plenty of employment benefits. I did here the Spanish colonialist did handsomely rape the land and its people of its resources and the land itself. You do paint a lovely picture of the Spanish arriving in South America! Shame it is far from the truth.

Nice attempt in hiding your chronic hypocrisy!
