The US referred to last week’s meeting between Barack Obama and President Cristina Fernández as “warm,” but once again “encouraged” Argentina to pay off the debt it holds with US bondholders and companies. Read full article

CFK also thanked the US for supporting the UK in the 1982 Falkland Islands war which helped bring democracy back to Argentina.

Hmm, only a very few people know how much she was admonished in private. Obama is two faced he can praise you in public and be cold as ice in private, just look at the recent gaff about Israel. I hope he takes an honorable out like LBJ but he is not honorable so I doubt it will happen..

Argentina is not a friend of The USA never has been never will be. CFK better get everything worked out before the next election or there will be some terrible consequences coming from the USA for Argentina. As I said both State and Treasury have had enough.
