The new ferry that links extreme south ports of Chile was officially presented in Puerto Williams and is already fully operational ahead of the summer season. Read full article
I spent some time in Ushuaia. It is s strange place. Probaby because 98% of the people living there come from somewhere else, tempted there by tax free earnings and higher wages. It was beautiful and I had great weather, which is unusual, apparently. I asked a chap who lived there what they do for entertainment. He said, We have dancing on Saturdays, and a cinema, but mostly we have affairs to pass the time. : ) Funny man.
Oh there are some things to see and do in Ushuaia... you can visit Stirling House, the first european house built in TdF..... the kit having been imported from the Falklands..
Congratulations to Chile for this new ferry. I hope TABSA shares some of the money with the forgotten Yaghans indians and their descendants living in
poverty, and not just using the name for the ferry.
Don't consider it right to treat them differently.
That's also kind of racism or like they would be a different species.
Treat them like human beings... not more, not less.

The rich and powerful could spend more time every year helping the poor instead of looking the other way.
