What a plonker, he has difficulty understanding the idea of any system of Government beyond his own myopic Republic and flawed democracy.

The idea of a Constitutional Monarchy, Constitutional Overseas Territory, or legal Act of Union, are concepts beyond his feeble mind, even when these systems are true democracy and without the flaws of his own myopic society.

    What a plonker.

Firstly, I'll never be your friend; and secondly, do come back with something remotely conscious, because you're making very little sense.

However, in the meantime, shut the fcuk up retard.

So do you get to vote for the Queen?
Or how about the House Of Lords? - the only country in the western world that has an entirely unelected and HEREDITORY upper house of Parliament that can legally stop the process of the lower and ELECTED house.......
    outside of Africa lol.

Dross - the Lords power to block Commons legislation is limited. The system works too.

And we do vote for the Queen - when we stop approving, the British tend to indulge in regicide! Can't get a clearer vote than that. When we get rid of a HEAD of State, we really get rid of a HEAD of State :-)

““If you look over the twenty odd points of the Anchorena summit’s agenda you will see that most referred to issues of importance for Uruguay, except Malvinas and some other minor issues which were of interest to Argentina”, said Almagro.” WELL SAID, HE JUST SAID THAT FOR URUGUAY THE MALVINAS CRAP IS NOT OF IMPORTANCE FOR URUGUAY.

URUGUAY GOVERNMENT, YOU'RE DOING THE WRONG THING, YOU'RE CONTRIBUTING WITH YOUR ACTIONS TO SUPPORT THIS NUTS WE HAVE IN THE GOVERNMENT. THIS WILL COST YOU, UNFORTUNATELY. NEVER SUPPORT AN *SSWIPE LIKE CRISTINA DE KIRCHNER, THAT MEANS LOSSES TO YOU. YOU CAN'T SEE IT NOW, BUT THIS WILL NOT MAKE ANY GOOD TO YOUR COUNTRY IN THE NOT SO LONG TERM, YOU'LL SEE.

    Getting back to the point:
”“to present this situation (barring Falklands’ vessels from the port of Montevideo) as an alignment with Argentine policy, and this is mere nonsense, a superficial comment which lacks complete political criteria and honestly, it leaves me perplexed””

I think we have the nub of the Problem in Uruguay. If they do not understand that by aligning themselves with a bunch of wanabee gangsters and thugs as they clearly have, they get 'tarred with the same brush' then Almagro needs to lie down a bit and rethink his statement.

All problems can be easily resolved. Mar del Plata, together with Buenos Aires, will become a combination of radio-active slagheaps and craters. The Rio de la Plata will become a ship graveyard, impossible of navigation. And Uruguay? Montevideo? Well, there's the problem. We British can't have a possibly hostile port in the estuary of the Rio de la Plata on our flank.

You could declare yourselves to be one with free, democratic people everywhere. Or you could continue to lick Argentine ass. You get nowhere by running scared. Perhaps you could attempt to find some bottle, some balls and some backbone.

I remind you that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” but the friend of my enemy is also my enemy. Never mind the careful words of government. Britain offers you peace or war. Choose. Britain cares not. In 1939/40/41 Britain, unaided, defeated the combined forces of Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany in North Africa. Britain's armed forces are the most combat-hardened, the most professional, the most capable in the world. CHOOSE! You are either with us or with the animals on the other side of the river. Either we will do what we can to protect you or you will share what we give them. CHOOSE!

I have a great desire to know the Falkland Islands, but unfortunately here in Brazil there are no options for tourism to the islands, in South American continent we should all be united, helping each other to develop the continent .. It is sad that the Malvinas are experiencing problems with Mercosur ... I hope this is resolved soon.
