Who would want to be friend of this despotic country if this is how it betrays you.

One of CFK's cronies is probably going to start an airline company and wants to get rid of the foreign competition.

    probably?

If your own state Airline does generate daily millions of USD loss due to own incompetence and crusted, all-mighty syndicates while the private and expanding comptetition does generate earnings with good service and comptetitive rates, then it's the duty of the peronist government to create equality on the market... by of course destroying the working company.
Fair is fair... at least in the kirchnerist/peronist world.

I was going to invest in Argentina but if this is the new world order you can keep it. How can foreign investors have any confidence with a government like this? I feel sorry for the poor people of Argentina who will be the real ones who suffer from this sort of Nationalistic attitude. Actually its not new world its very old world.

    “Its called realpolitik...”

Realpolitik is what Argentina is going to suffer in the next time, especially because of the low external and internal faith in it's economy, hyperinflation is greeting.
LAN's discomfort because of Aeroparque is very minor, as the company have become so influential in it's sector (10th greatest airline in the world with the takeover of TAM). Considering this, Aeroparque's limitation is just peanuts for them and BsAs far too unimportant.

I see that after 3 years of running near empty 'planes on their direct Sydney/BA flights Qantas are dropping that route and starting a service direct into Santiago.

I guess nobody wants to go to BA......... dog shit capitol of the world...
