Lol and if argentinas economy was doing so well as the argy bloggers want us to believe then why are they taking such drastic actions of difict reduction, cutting pensions and social benefits, suspending salary increases and increasing retirement ages which adds to pensions cuts and will also result in more unemployed due to people working longer. These measures are only made when a country is facing deep economic issues, it seems argentina has left things late and are all of a sudden, now the election is other starting to act upon it, after leading the argentine population to believe the economy was doing really well prior to the election.

Well done argentina, your people fell for your cover up hook line and sinker and some still believe your doing well economically.

Yes, Teaboy2 & this is one of the richer provinces!
Don't worry, Santa Cruzians, things will be much better for you when we take over the province.
Our claim is no more ridiculous than yours.♥

Argentina is in serious trouble, the price of Soy is down 6-8% this year, they have a drought like in 2008 where they harvested 70% of their typical crop and car exports are dying. All the hard currency has already been raided and the don't have the funds to pay off the Paris Club or the holdouts so they can't issue int'l bonds. This has been expected for years now it is finally at fruition. It will be fun to watch just wait until people are back from vacations in late Feb/March when it's hot and they can't afford to run the a/c, it is going to get ugly.
BTW I would be rioting too if my gas, water, electricity and some taxes went up 300% in a month!

The truth it´s unveiling at last. The populist waste of funds during the last office term of Ms. Botox (and previous of his husband) is now as the Damocles spade hanging over her head.....Not all that shine is gold, difficult lesson to be learnt by the common people after that long party paid with the “all people money” (included the appartments at BA downtwon owned by a person who has increased her personal fortune 600% through last years....meanwhile some people is suffering famine death in the northen country)....It´s a real paradox, don´t you think ????

She decided not to travel to Santa Cruz, she's a coward.

@4 Not only in the North of the country, if you make a trip through the north of Córdoba province, you'll find people living like rats and with some lovely Vinchucas as companions. I know those bugs are in many places in South America, but at least the government of Cristina that says is so progressive could do something to fight against those plagues. But since the majority of those people can't even read or write, the government just don't care. What can those people do? Nothing, they're defenseless.

Of course you do .... THEN WHY USE THESE TITLES HORN ??.... Hopefully, one day journalists engaged in journalism with the Ten Commandments in hand ..... WHILE .... have lost prestige ... They no longer believe nothing .... Stop lying .... ALL MY outrage .... THIS NOTICE From Argentina ... I say ENOUGH Monopoly! S.I.P. ENOUGH .... STOP PRESS .... CANALLA CRISTINA FERNANDEZ was voted by 54% TOLD WHAT TO SAY ... WHAT CRISTINA CRISTINA ... are telling the people of Argentina ... THIS TATTOO ON THESE NERDY ... they make it clear ... . Riots in Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner Chavez (© ElaineB) home province!!!!!

Well, who would have thought that: all the Brits for a start.

And she decided not to travel there with the dynamic duo (Thin Girl and Fat Boy) to avoid further embarrasment and / or spark further riots at her personage.

I see from the photo the riot police are we clothed and armed unlike some of the poor deluded commoners who voted for her, I bet they are wishing they had voted for someone else now.

And where are the other Stupid Heroes, Pretend Irishman, the Fabled Pratt-Junta, et al? Conspicuous by their absence. Great news, the downfall cometh, the Ides of March will soon be upon her.

A local issue nothing more nothing spreading like London to Birmingham to Mamchester.Car sales reach 860,000 the central bank reserves rise 2 billion in a month Mar Del Platas hotels 95% full in December before the holiday season even begin. No Malvinenses Argentina continues to grow with the odd provincial problem but as for riots watch England 2012 thats where you will see the real thing as Europes implosion continues. Unlike the rest of the continent where they put their money into welfare rather than the armed forces there is little social protection for the periphery

@ 15 “ a local issue” of course it is a local issue, or do you think this is an international issue? Who cares about those Malvinas fantasy islands when millions live in misery in Argentina? Only an Irish lad.

    15. Why do you keep avoiding my questions? If your mask slipping?

Starting tomorrow gas, water & electricity go up 350% for 250K families. That is a HUGE blow to inflation #'s wanna bet it doesn't budge for INDEC though?
Fundamentals don't change; Soy down 7-8% y/o/y and car exports dead or dying, imports stopped at the borders...panic has set it.
The riots usually start in the provinces and move to BA, everyone is on vacation now but let's watch mid Feb/March. It hot and they can't afford to run the a/c ..fun fun fun.

The question was, Are you an Irishman living in BA?

The reason BCRA has extra $ is because they stole “borrowed” fro Anses

Tendrán alzas en sus facturas de hasta 350%. http://www.clarin.com/politica/manana-rige-quita-subsidios-agua_0_619138180.html

give up your obsession to the falklands, and look after your people ,
make them proud of argentina, instead of hating the british .
