Uruguay beef exports last year dropped 8% in volume but soared 18% in value because of higher international prices and fewer cattle. Jan 12th, 2012 - 02:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The govt should aid the farmers as much as possible to increase the breeding programme to raise the output WHILST maintaining sufficient breeding stock for the year after.
If the present trend continues the export numbers will fall and eventually there is a limit to how much people will pay and the UYU income will collapse.
Or is it because some people have their own ways of responding to South American blackmail?
