I personally don't claim the Falklands. I personally think you should keep them (though it's funny how you say they are “british”, I thought it belonged to the Falklanders) :)

You are obsessed with Argentina because you comment in every news story NOT about the Falklands. I'm here because I feel like it. I say what I want to you because I feel like it. You can't do anything about it.

You are of course free and welcome to respond to me, or not... it's a free medium.

I'm just trying to understand how many here take the issue of the Falklands and extended to a a seething dislike of Argentina.

I'll be honest, I see that with people in Argentina towards the British, I admit that myself, but I already knew this obviously and think they are ignorant and blind. I did not know there were so many in the UK of the exact same condition. I always thougtht that they in Britain, as victors in the last war, and a more traditionally democratic society with access to information, would be more universally “sophisticated”, and did not succumb to provincial and parroquial jingoism, specially against what they constantly rail as a “lesser” country.

Yet even as a more democratic society, victors of the war, and of a “superior” nation, many there still behave like the ignorant argies I have known over the years. Such attitudes are not excusable in Argentina, but they are even more perplexing and inexcusable in the UK.

    Tobias,
First of, very few brits dislike Argentina, the reason is simple, they do not know them,
And I imaging the same in reverse, perhaps you are taking some bloggs to far, and to deeply,
The only obsessed is with CFK this is well documented, [yes] I agree there are some bloggers [on both sides] that use foul words and go way over the top, , probably due to lack of understanding and misinterpretation of words

Brits like Argies only reply to the titles in the blogg, as that’s what it is all about, , this is called freedom of speech,
I myself is not offensive, but some interpret it , so, yes I can be very witty and only retaliate when required as you have seen on other bloggs , they are only comments and opinions, sometimes hot sometimes cold , sometime I praise Argentina it up, all depends, but from your part, you should perhaps not take things to seriously, allow me to comment on you words,
Remember its how we interpret what [you] write
[][I'm just trying to understand how many here take the issue of the Falklands and extended to a seething dislike of Argentina
Perhaps if Argentina did not invade the Falklands in the first place, we would not be here now, even today, she insults , tells abhorrent lies , blockades , and abuses the islanders and refuse to let them live in peace,,,, just a reply,
[], I admit that myself, but I already knew this obviously and think they are ignorant and blind./////
The only ignorant are Argentina, , they absolutely refuse to leave the islanders alone and continually threatens them,, the brits have been called stubborn and arrogant gents, but not ignorant .
, and did not succumb to provincial and parroquial jingoism//[][so you admit it is jingoism

You need to read the bloggs as they are, if you do not like some rantings, then just ignore it and move on, /, try not to be such a straight jacket all the time,
    Justa thought .
[6 Sir Rodderick ] ding a fine job, but watch out for the birds .

I don't take the comments (too) seriously. I do use the forum in large measure to sharpen my debating, between-the-lines analysing, and redacting skills. So I take the comments “seriously” in the sense that it affords me the opportunity ro respond with some degree of cohesiveness

Of course I admit some in Argentina engage in shameless jingoism (more precisely just very annoying and ignorant nationalism).

The CFK government is not very sophisticated in any sphere (be it economic, geopolitical, internal, etc). They are extremely myopic and xenophobic. Their main problem is they live in a time-capsule, they are a bunch of Anachronists. They believe to be in 1973, in a world of very localized politics, when today the world is very integrated. Thus they take the ecoonomic trade measures they do, or have such a poor diplomacy towards the rest of the world. They simply do not understand the world is different now... and they want to fulfill in 2012 the agenda they could ot in 1975.

See, now why cant you be like this on the other blogg,
Perhaps reading this before you reply may help things,
Things are only ever opinions, never take them seriously or misinterpret, or it causes problems,
    Good lad .
