Chile almost close to “full employment”; shortage of manpower in some sectors

Chile’s unemployment rate unexpectedly declined in the three months through December to 6.6% from 7.1% as the retail, mining and construction industries expanded, the National Statistics Institute said on Tuesday. What a strange,I remembered somethings abruptly,

That was that from former Chilean Junta Air Force Commander Fernando Matthei who said Chilean support included military inteligence gathering ,radar surveillence,RAF aircrafts,operating with Chilean colours and even safe return of British commandos who landed near Punta Arenas,among other things.And he had confessed “” We did everthing possible to make Argentina loose the Malvinas War “”..

Anyway that General Balza who was then a Lieutenant Colonel and head of an artillery group fighting in Malvinas War ,said the Argentines
had hooked into the Chilean communication system and where well aware of the early warning system of the British,delivered by the Chileans,every time Argentine bombers took off for the Islands..! as the some part of UK- Chile collaboration “”“ secret pact”“.

We may be certain that ”” When we say -- Chile-- ,We are not referring to the Chilean people but to the government of the time.

But ,I believe that the decisive support was from the USA to UK..!

Against all these past times we always love Chilean people eveytime!

I like the Chileans too. In my experience there is little mutual adoration between the two countries. In fact, they are very quick to criticise and make disparaging comments about their neighbours. I get a quite a few “We hate them” comments from both sides but I like to think they are just joking. It is not unusual for there to be rivalries between neighbouring countries; and the two countries could not be more different in temperament.
