“Let the world be aware that the Argentine Nation is a peace loving people, with a deep humanitarian feeling but with the firm conviction of recovering the usurped territory” are just lies, lies lies!

Totally peace loving in 1982 were you? You are a bunch of fascist-loving, banana-republic led murderers!

I am now putting together letters asking for a boycott on Argentinian goods, and for shops to remove products from their shelves. If they do not follow the boycott then they face embarrassment. Just like some supermarkets did over Israeli products.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhSU8rMJ9XE

“Let the world be aware that the Argentine Nation is a peace loving people, ignoring the War of the Triple Alliance, Beagle Conflict, Falklands War, Dirty War, Night of the Pencils, Ethnic Cleansing of Indigenous Population, with a deep humanitarian feeling by Ethnic Cleansing of the Indigenous Population but with the firm conviction of taking land that we squatted on illegally in 1800's and were removed by the true owners ”, added the document signed by Chairman Viviani and Secretary Omar Suarez.

I just waved the Hypocrisy-o-meter at this article and it bent around the top limit.

I admit this story made me laugh.

I guess its their right to deny their service to whatever ship they please, so long as those hiring them don't care. I woudn't, but whatever.

I'm surprised we even sell them anything. They couldn't get credit if they begged.

Does this mean they won't be unloading their war dead when the Falklanders rightfully decide to repatriate them? Are they going to be left bobbing in the harbour?

@ 3 It makes you laugh? Really :) It's understandable, you don't live in Argentina tobias, why would you care? you're like Ogara, who believes that every penny tat Cristina and her partners steal from us is something funny and means nothing. Of course, because it's our money, no his money, he lives in Europe.
They don't have the right to do this because they are not the owners of Argentina, and the ship was serving us, not the way you say it. The only sh*t is you tobias and the likes of you.

Don't be silly GreekYoghurt - Why would they have any war dead? they clearly stated “...that the Argentine Nation is a peace loving people...”

This guy must have serious memory issues. Alzheimer's disease must be rife in Argentina!

This guy should quit that dirty habit. Is smoking indoors not banned in Argentina? Guess he will also ban any UK companies developing cancer medication that will be of benefit to smokers from operating in Argentina?

@6 Does that man look like the kind of person who would actually unload something? He just looks like the kind of guy who would find any excuse not to unload something, and then presumably have a cigarette and talk about how great Sean Penn was on 'late night with Hugo'.

    Not quite sure :)

What a fine looking specimen he is!

Is he going to stop British flagged ships as well or just English and ones from the OTs he mentioned? What an uneducated thug and throw-back to the 70's union culture. This guy hasn't done a day's work in his life.

The trouble is it was a gas tanker that they refused to unload and guess what Argentina is running out of GAS they need every drop they can get their hands on. Bahahahaha idiots. Cutting off their nose despite themselves.

    Useless union shithead!

I tell you what though. Check out his photo. If this guy ever does something infamous enough to warrant a movie, they've got to give the lead to Robert de Niro haven't they? Check him out.

They need to give the part to Sean Penn. Sean has probably grown his moustache specifically for playing the part, look...

If Argentina boycotts UK and Falklands shipping it is a blatant violation of international trade laws and rules of the sea. The World Bank, IMF, World Trade Organisation, the UN, et al will all sanction them appropriately.

Bring it on. Let the fascist children play their games. The ball keeps coming right back into their own net.

    I think you're right

Okay, let's have some fun. Name the actors who will star in the movie. Here's my entry:
CFK - Teri weigel (not a well known actor but Google her and see for yourself; she has the right credentials)
Omar Viviani- Robert de Niro (understudy Sean Penn)
Foreign Hector Timmerman- Ron Jeremy (again not a huge name but all the right credentials. You should find him on the same site as Teri Weigel)

What the union should do now of course is ask their Latin American comrades to join this refusal because the war mongering colonialists wont sit down to talk.It will be a very interesting way to step up the pressure on finance and the City understand that

Now this is interesting, a boycott of British goods,
We import because we need it, so just let our boys boycott it, and it is the Argies that suffer, brilliant just brilliant,
Theirs no flies on these gangster tankers is their,

So the UN asks politely to both nations, please stop ratching things up,
Yes sir, says CFK, yippee we got support, two days later, she boycotts British goods,
    And the UN must think???

    22 O gara
Ask their Latin American comrades to join this refusal because the war mongering colonialists
[very clever, do you know that one plus one is two]
That was not insulting it was a fact,
South America need the west more than the other way around,
In a trade war with the UK Argentina [the people] and south America [the people] will suffer,
The leaders will not, and neither will [you] unless you live there, so please don’t encourage more hastle on the poor, they get enough from CFK
    .

Richard Wilson, the man who played Victor Meldrew, not only does his previous roll prove he can act the part but, by God he looks just like him. Maybe it is him?

Let's just face facts, Omar Viviani and his chums are unlikely to have ever done a days work in their lives, let alone broke a sweat through unloading.

So if they suddenly decide they're not going to do any unloading, then it's hardly the end of the world.

The Argentine flag was 'invented' by Manuel Belgrano. Are they just performing an economic blockade against invented flags, because they might have a bit of a problem.

It was the current government that put the emblazoned the letters SS on the front, however, in memory of the people who formed their nation.
