The normal course of events is to hold an official inquiry, with recommendations from a top person in the country and decide what to do from there.
Its painfully obvious that nationalising the trains may not be the best course of action and unless the government spends money that it doesnt have on modernising the railways then nothing will improve anyway.
This is a complete and utter smokescreen. A knee jerk reaction that has its roots on being popularist, not on improving safety.

how is nationalisation the answer? you havent heard how its going to work yet? the fact remains that if the government dont modernise ie spend a lot of money on the railway network then it really doesnt matter who is running the show you will have the same result.
As for the botox queen remaining silent - she ran away, hid, and then came up with a knee jerk solution which has no substance to it. there has been no enquiry, no recommendations, nothing.
Its clearly a popularist move aimed at looking like something is happening when nothing really is.
