Falkland Islands exploration company Borders & Southern (AIM: BOR) announced the spudding of its second well, 61/25-1, on 11 May 2012. The well is located 170 km south of the Falkland Islands. Read full article
I agree, the deadline set by the Argentine administration was the 2nd but nothing happened as far as I know. The problem for them is that they haven't backed up their words with actions to date so investors and companies will think it was just hot air.
@4 It's complete nonsense anyways, they have no jurisdiction over the falklands, even under international law as they're not the administering country of the territory. It would just be a show trial.
Besides, recent news shows that there isn't a court of law that the Argies respect, so why would anyone respect theirs?
Well, well, well. This is not going to go down well, with you know who well. Well, we can still all wish them well and hope that all ends well. Might as well give my opinion. As it is well intended. Well thats it, might as well end this post and wonder if anyone else will post on the subjuct of this well, well?
The last time the Argies actually did anything it resulted in a humiliating defeat. They are unwilling and unable to take any action so all we will get is words, words and more words.
They talk a good game but that is the limit of their ability or influence.
we cant wait, to see the great argentine navy, with the police, sail to and board the riggs and arrest them all,
take them back to argentina and charge them,
hurry up please.
the Royal navy wants some action .
Well, if they do try it, they will be and truely well come. It is well known how well, the RN well comes guests. After all it is well known that their well come goes back to the days of Nelson and Well ington.
I've been worried about Think's health for some weeks now. Not his mental health. though heaven knows there's cause enough for concern in that department. I thought at first he was doing watch on watch off in the propaganda department (the Observatory - how else the timings of his inputs) but he strenuously denied it. He let slip he has problems in the personal waterworks department that keep him up all hours. Could these have taken a turn(ip) for the worst?
How many barrels of oil per day are they producing? I wonder if anyone will get to theft any oil from Argentina. This century. Where is BP when you need them.
@23toooldtodieyoung,
l was talking about the oil but looking back, l guess it could apply to sr Think as well.
Think,
turn on a tap & have a running water sound when next you are in ze toilet.

May 11th, 2012 - 03:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Not to mention that it's been 9 days since they said they would begin legal proceedings against companies involved :P
At least, i think the 2nd of May was the deadline, could easily be wrong.
Legal proceedings where are you? We've got the Kangaroos, now we just need the court.
