This is laughable. @1, 2 ar residents of the UK, a country that like every other major western European country has grovelled and cut more deals with dicators, genocidal maniacs, oil despots, fundamentalist theocracies, blood diamond governments, and juntas than any other, except the USoAAAH.
May 18th, 2012 - 06:41 pm - Link - Report abuse 0There offense taken at Argentina grovelling in Angola for blood diamonds is beyond false, fake, and oleaginous to the sight. (intersting how people here react at me accusing a member of immoralities, even when it was unintended, yet they feel free to cast aspersions and spurrious vitriol at any country they deem lesser somehow)

What's fake or false about it. She is saying there is a better way of doing things. her way. Have you taken a good hard serious look at her way. God almight, how long as it been since the expropriation of YPL? two weeks. Already defaulting on a $400 million dollar interest payment to Credit Suisse. Yes, I can speak German. I can't give a speech about how to fix an engine nor would I pretend I can, but I can read, watch German tv with no problems. I can have everyday conversation on any topic, but I'm still rusty with speech mainly lack of practice chances. But I'm trying to change that.
I still make some spelling mistakes, like spelling Glas with an extra r; no doubt English interference.
What is wake r_check is your country just like all others has cut very questionable deals in terms of scruples and pangs of conscience. Argentina would not be the first, and most importantly there is no evidence to acuse Angola of any such thing as blood diamond economics, with the immediate implications which such estatement entails.

Angola is my one of favorite countries.................
I was born in Luneberg, W. Germany. I too can read, speak and hold a passable conversation in German. My country is the UK. Sierra Leon is, or was the largest producer of blood diamonds, UK armed forces put a stop to that, before you go on about British Imperialism there, just reflect on what it was like before their involvement. I would only respect the opinion on a Sierra Leonian on that subject. Am I or any of my contemporaries responsible for what happened in the British Imperial past, no. Do I have any pangs of guilt, no, why should I. Yes I have scruples, one of them is honesty, another is trust and yet another is mutual respect.

What a great opportunity to get oil from Angola. Wise choice Christina, because your chances of investors developing your shale oil have nosedived, and you aren't going to get any oil from the Falklands as your dear husband broke a promise of cooperation. What happens though when Angola delivers oil and Argentina gets another drought and can't supply the food/ money? No worries, Argentina is good at not paying people back and breaking agreements.

Oh dear, oh dear oh dear. After me paying you such a kind comment on how good your grammar was. It should read. You do not know what Bombay is? and not, You do not know what is Bombay? Now be a good laddie and write it down one hundred times, It might help you with your further juvenile ramblings.
It seems you are also experiencing further problems with your reading comprehension. I suggest you revisit my previous post, paying particular attention to the phrase, I live in the world greatest country. Which as you well know is the United Kingdom.
Now lets move on to Geographical names. Bombay/Mumbai. Mayanmar/Burma. Ceylon/Sri Lanka. Shangrila/Malvinas. Falkland Islands/Falkland Islands. Spot the deliberate mistake? Oh, go on then, here's a clue, Falkland Islands/Falkland Islands.
You are probably another one of those ardent Argentinian patriots, who endlessly go on and on and on, about how great your country is, yet reside in another persons, or in the case of 1982, tries to. There seems to be an awful lot of them.

May 20th, 2012 - 04:57 am - Link - Report abuse 01-I don’t have any problem to be “Argentinien” the problem is that I was born in “Deutschland” the same country you claim to be born but I can still write “umlaut” with my keyboard. So I would be lying by pretending to be Argy.
2- “I live in the world greatest country.” Which as you well know is the United Kingdom”.
I also have been living in Ukistan and to claim to be “The world greatest country” you have to be a fanatic mad guy or you come from Pakistan. Which one is the right answer?
3- I gave above a quite clear explanation of the name, but just as you seem to don’t understand the language of the country you were born (German) here I go in English.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
! The name Bombay comes from Portuguese expression “Bom Bahia” (Good bay) !!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And “Mumbai” is the name pronunciation in Indian language known as “Marathi” spoken by around 100m people including Britain. But for your knowledge in English was also formerly “Bombay”. According with wiki Mumbai has another meaning now. But I have not Idea if that is true.
4- “Indien” is the name of the country in German if you were not aware of.
5- “You are probably another one of those ardent Argentinian patriots...”
Coming from the guy that claim to live in “The world greatest country” really sound pathetic I guess.
If you are not ashamed to claim that you live in “The world greatest country “ imagine what cans anyone claim while living in Argentina.
6- You have to understand that is not other people fault if you have an inferiority complex you can fix this by just moving to another country or make some session with your preferred analyst.
Now can we sing “Keine Lust” like in any white western country or I should be banned like in the Middle East?
Im from argentina, and yes i always say that argentina is the greatest country if allbecause it simply is! Ok falklanders if you wish to be independant or british or colonies or whatever you may be it, we lost the 82 war and britain won so we just shut up and solve other pronlems. Cristina is using the falklands/malvinas issue as a smoke curtain to cover the other more important problems such as inflation or increase in poberty and increased corruption (and by the way cameron is doing that too!) people of the falklands, you are free! No Brits there anymore, the cold war ended, thank god, no more need for them. perhaps there's a lesson in that for some, if they care to learn it. Served there myself twice, 71/2 years in total. One daughter also born there. I believe there are married accompanied troops serving in the Islands, I wonder if any of their children born there?
Just watched the service of dedication of the Falklands Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum on the telly. Very dignified service, led by Rev David COOPER. I thought the dediction on the plaque was very apt, From the sea - Freedom.
There are three standing stones, stones from the Islands, set in the ground in front of the memorial. They bear the names of the three Falkland Islanders who lost their lives in the war. Theirs are the only names on the memorial, againI thought this very apt. The rest of the guys are remembered elsewhere in the Arboretum.
