May 21st, 2012 - 08:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0Taiwan is coveted by China as the Falkland Islands are by Argentina. The Taiwanese should have a natural affinity with the Falkland Islanders, two peoples constantly threatened and abused by an expansionist aggressive neighbour.

The Chinese to be fair have been pretty good with the Taiwanese recently and in time if the Chinese carry on being nice, Taiwan may one day merge with China, but its up to the people who live in Taiwan to decide that, no-one else.
