    The administration of President Cristina Kirchner regularly and strongly denies charges that it manipulates Indec's economic data.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA
    KFC even joked at how crap the Indec figures were in her speech to the poor Angolians!

    Important point - these are the expectations of people being surveyed, not hard figures. While such expectations are a very significant component of the human factor in inflation, the people surveyed may find that the economy itself disagrees with them. The most worrying part of the whole article is the above-target increase in the money supply - the one and only way to have true hyperinflation (a la Zimbabwe) is an out of control money supply.

    Presumably they are allowed to publish this because it's a survey of expectations and not inflations figures as such. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of harassment by the govt.

    30% inflation that's not good especially when the average wage increase in Argentina this year will be about 5%. Trouble brewing...

    The'll be very luck to keep inflation in the 30s. I expect by the eoy it will be much higher, HUGE nat gas prices are coming along with higher taxes overall.
    Ks created a big mess and have no idea how to fix it.
    Of course CFK needs bed rest for the next 48 hrs. All of this must be taking a toll.

    The Mad Bitch of Argentina has a virus from her vist to Angola, it was reported in the BA Herald.

    Let us all hope it is not the Ebola Virus, or her face will drop off, along with many other things.

    @6 I think you're immune to Ebola when you're at least 50% collagen. So, she should be good to go.

    We will soon know if it is really flu. 1) It is highly contageous so everyone else on that flight will go down with the flu. 2) She will not be out of bed in 48 hours.
    She takes an awful lot of time off work for a President.

    @9

    Pity she doesn't take more time off - like go away and never come back would be good. :o)

    @10 I agree. Argentina has no chance with CFKC at the helm. She is inadequate and out of her depth. Her mental health issues make her completely unsuitable for the job and only her narcissism keeps her there. I wish she would stop 'making great personal sacrifices' and bugger off. I have good friends in Argentina and I take no pleasure at all in the demise of their country and the very real sacrifices they will be making in the coming months. Watching her demise, however, will be better even than watching Chelsea win The Champons League last Sunday.
