Spain, on the edge of a financial cliff, cancels all development aid to Latin America
The Spanish government announced this week it was cancelling all development aid to Latin American countries as a direct consequence of the financial strains the EU member is suffering, which is the worst in decades with record unemployment of 24%. Read full article

It gives poverty-stricken SA countries an idea of what a proper nation can achieve, even when encountering minor financial difficulties, if it operates properly. It seems you now have no less than 4 Royal Navy vessels in your area or on the way. How lucky are you? Would you like to send your frigates (3) and patrol boats (6) out to form a guard of honour?
