May 26th, 2012 - 09:43 am - Link - Report abuse 0To be fair, the Chinese like even less that the Argies do (which isn't a lot).
May 26th, 2012 - 10:37 am - Link - Report abuse 0Must be hard to be an European right-winger, this is like choosing between pest and colera for them :)
May 26th, 2012 - 10:46 am - Link - Report abuse 0Luckily I am a European socialist and can therefore readily accept that, economy aside (obviously), China is the one of a small handful of countries that allow Argentina to stand tall and proud by comparison. Having said that, China are catching up fast.
May 26th, 2012 - 10:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0I stall tall and proud that in Argentina it doesn't take 90 minutes for a cop to show up while hundreds of children are being hunger gamed.
May 26th, 2012 - 01:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0In Argentina you are lucky if the Police don't rob you more after they arrive
May 26th, 2012 - 01:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I'll take a robbery over a 57 bullets from trigger happy tough-guy wannabes US cops.

May 26th, 2012 - 01:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Toby, There have been an awful lot of kidnapping/killings in BA lately. It is alarming don't you think?
May 26th, 2012 - 01:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Laughing at the murders? How do you arrive to that conclusion? I'm looking forward to this.
May 26th, 2012 - 01:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I can't speak norwegian yet, but close enough:
Bitte halt deinen Maul, richtigen Idioten kennst du ja ziemlich gut... Schau in den Spiegel.
Toby did your gov't find the LNG it need for this winter? Have you started having black outs in BA yet or is still warm enough?

12. You know I was wondering that because 1 day you posted about taking the metro home but there is no metro in Mendoza so which is the lie?
May 26th, 2012 - 01:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Are they still using kerosene to clean the streets? Did you tell anyone it is probably destroying your water table?
14 yankeeboy
May 26th, 2012 - 04:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They don't give a shit about the water table or even the rivers themselves if you check-out the BsAs environs.
Shocking, raw sewage into the pools which then go into the river. And this is AFTER the supposed clean-up.
@ChrisR
May 26th, 2012 - 04:36 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Kind of like London then. Last time I was there it was right after a rainstorm and the Thames with basically just a river of raw stinking sewage heading out to the North Sea. No wonder the fish stocks are depleted.
They say that beyond a certain point in Berkshire, it is impossible to take a swim in the Thames without getting ill.
skåre
May 26th, 2012 - 06:40 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I have to admit no knowledge of that, but that is not what is happening in BsAs.
Irrespective of weather conditions what I have posted is what happens.
I agree however, that if the Thames is being polluted like that, it is an unmitigated disgrace: but that is what you get when the French buy the water company.
Dont be excited ,
May 26th, 2012 - 07:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I cant see any posters here who know China .
The Thames is not that bad

@ChrisR
Most of the London sewers overflow straight into the Thames, so if it rains heavily all the raw sewage runs straight through the centre of London. Such a nice perfume.

@Leiard
May 26th, 2012 - 09:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0thanks and cool .. at least until it rains heavily and the turds take over, de-oxygenate the water and all the 125 species of fish die ;)
Sorry, it really is cool and I am just teasing (mostly).

because I took the metro and Mendoza has none ... lol
To all the dilletantes in trolling, this is how NOT to troll. Lesson: at least troll with some basic notion of your geography, and current developments on the ground.
@skåre - You are right but we are suppose to be building a Thames super-sewer to keep the river clean when the flood waters rise.... not sure what's happening with it though.

Toby, If you don't like being caught in lies you should probably start telling the truth. It is much easier to remember.

A bit of resource nationalism there Chris =)
China's exports to Argentina fell because:
May 27th, 2012 - 06:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Argentina has come under a barrage of criticism at the WTO where the US, EU, Japan and TEN other countries accused it of tying imports up in red tape after CFK and Co imposed a new system to pre-approve, or reject EVERY purchase from abroad.
Just add China's name to the ever growing list...
Fool,
May 28th, 2012 - 02:32 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Mendoza has a metro interburban line now. From Maipu to Mendoza centre. Two more lines will begin this year and eventually the current line will be underground in the downtown. Down the line another underground east-west line is proposed...

When I made my comment, it was when the service was being started a month or two ago and it was free since they are getting people used to it. I'm honestly sick of your arrogance and calling me a liar when that itself is a lie.
I demand an immediate apology.
