Britain sent a defiant message to Argentina on the 30th anniversary of the end of the Falklands War by flying the Islands' flag above Downing Street. Read full article
”British forces put their lives on the line to defend British sovereign territory, the British way of life and the rights of British people to determine their own future.”
He got that right.
As they said, a fitting tribute to ALL those who lost their lives in a needless war. God rest all of them - Argentine, British and the 3 female civilians.
3 .. You stole your own country and slaughtered the natives to expand Argentina. Now got sights on Falklands. Humiliated, broke, looooosers go home. We don't want plastic face in new York, new York hang on didn't we colonise america, maybe we should ask for it back, or perhaps respect the rights of the residents.. Idiot colonist rgs
Yep PL, Happy Liberation Day. They are a hardy lot living down there -they wouldn't really want to have to put up with KFC hanging about telling them how to run their lives when it really isn't necessary!
BA Herald: Arturo Putridjelli the laughable wop 'Defence Minister' deemed UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s remarks ‘almost pathetic’ over the 'Malvinas' (there are STILL no Malvinas).
Well, being completely pathetic himself does allow this excuse for intelligencia to be in a position to know first hand.
He then went on to say ”It’s as if our President were to celebrate a referendum defining that residents of any province wanted to remain being Argentine,” ha, ha (I say).
As if The Mad Bitch of Argentina would have the guts to allow ANY province to have a referendum - knowing full well she would probably lose it.
Bunch of Muppets. Mind you, that's an insult to any of the muppets.
Tinheads like beaker, and kircher miss piggy, miss piggy was strong, clever, quick witted....kircher shares one attribute and that's they both look like pigs.
Amusingly CFK is preaching at a meeting chaired by a country with terrible human rights that is going to get invaded by the UN to stop the slaughter of its own population by its own military in a forum that has no remit to discuss the matters its discussing has zero power and all large countries believe should be made defunct.
But apart from that I'm sure its worthwhile lol.....

Long may you be Free, forget not those who wished to take you freedom and those who paid the price to restore it.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA
Down with the brits pirates and robbers!
MALVINAS ARGENTINAS!!!
Malvi - dont worry we do not forget, nor ever will those who took our freedom in 182 and who still demand that they want our freedom again taken from us.
That is why we never forget the sacrifices of those who got us our freedom and democracy back again when we were liberated from a vile aggressive nation on 14th June 1982.
That is why the Role of Honour was read in our cathedral Service today.
That is why dozens of young Falklands Children stood quietly in the freezing cold driving snow for so long this morning at the Liberation monument today.
That is why a group of Falklands Children climber Mt Tumbledown on the 13th in the snow and ice and stood quietly whilst one of them read the Role of Honour of the Scots Guards who fell there that night, and then laid a white cross.
That is why 300 out of an original ships company of 500 of HMS Glamorgan marched through the streets of Portsmouth last Sunday to the Cathedral and laid a wreath to their departed shipmates.
They came from as far away as NewZealand,Afghanistan and USA.
You will never understand what Britain and the Falkands - and places like Canada,Australia,N.Z. etc stand for.
Suppose that in the building where you live, suddenly 5 armed immigrant families, seize 5 departments. It is logical to make a vote years later, the descendants of those families,to determine if they own or to express their opinion about legitimate owners, whether or not they have rights on the properties?
Suppose you own an empty apartment building and then people from down the the road decide to move in and say its theirs. You call the police who remove said squatters. However the squatters then spend the next 179 years whining that its their apartment and they want it back... Or they will cry.
Just to point out to the CFK, we do not celebrate end of conflicts, we remember them with a ceremony, take a minute silence and consolidate the families who lost their family members, I would imagine the flag was raised in respect of the people who lost their lives to this senseless war.
@25 Hey you, muck for brains. The civilian population in the Falkland Islands in 1833 (most of them South American in origin) were asked to stay but under British Rule. Only 4 chose to leave. As they were asked and given a choice they were not expelled. This was confirmed by Pinedo when he arrived in South America. Of those that agreed to stay only two were British so these were not a 'British only' implanted population. If they were allowed to stay they were obviously not expelled, dumbass, so the Falkland Islanders are descended from these people (multi-raced-NOT all British), therefore they are not an implanted popuation and the vote in their2012 referendum is legitimate.Besides all that they have the right freely given to ALL peoples of Self Determination-by UN charter.
The argentine books that say that historically the Falklands belong to Argentina are as accurate as the ones from Chile (no offense) that show that the Argentine patagonia is Chilean....

Falklands flag flying over Downing st? Oh the shame of it all says CFK! And how terrible to be commemorating the liberation of the Falklands from the Argentine invaders. And how despicable for the British to remember their British war dead!
¡Qué horror! ¡Qué vergüenza!
However, it was only a few weeks ago on 2 April in Ushuaia that CFK was doing just that for the Argentine dead who had invaded the Falklands, but by commemorating the dead on 2 April, CFK didn't really seem to be recognizing the Argentine war dead, as much as celebrating the 1982 invasion itself.
