There will be no “business as usual” until the coup is resolved; Franco is clearly scared of Cristina if he can't even say a word against her, but she'll keep speaking up against him =)

Well, CFK, nothing new from you, then? Cozy relationship with Lugo, was it? What was it he was impeached for? Nepotism and dodgy land deals? Sounds just like argieland. And you always had those paternity suits to threaten him with, didn't you? I guess he was always going to be “co-operative”. Presumably the land deal was to make up for the presidential salary Lugo wasn't going to draw. Even saintly ex-bishops have to eat, I suppose. Are you concerned that Vice Pres.... sorry, President Franco isn't going to be quite so helpful? Or is it just that he hasn't let you know how much his “co-operation” is going to cost....yet?

The Vatican said today it accepts the resignation tendered by Argentine bishop Fernando María Bargallo, who was caught living in sin with a woman in a Mexican beach resort, in the latest of a string of sex scandals that hit the Catholic Church. A vacancy just when Lugo needs a new job?

So, according to the Argentines, South America is unified as a geographical entity.

    Yeah, right.
