London AIM listed Falkland Oil and Gas announced it has reached an agreement to farm out a 35% stake in most of its Falkland Islands’ exploration licenses to the US Noble Energy to help fund its drilling plans off the Islands. Read full article
She can complain all she wants to whoever she wants about anything she wants. She has no respect on the global diplomatic stage and is a certified nut job.
Premier put forward a better deal than the yanks for RKH but at last the US has been able to secure a portion of the FI exploration. They have been trying for a while.
Fantastic news for the Falklands and our long term future!
No doubt CFK will be frothing at the mouth with helpless fury in the Pink House.... who cares?
Argentina will once again froth at the mouth, shout, stamp their feet, and threaten to take legal proceedings against this oil companies.
Then they will remember that they are completely impotent to deliver on such threats, so will retreat to the safety of their friends (Venezula, Iran, China and Syria), who will make cooing noises to stop CFK from screeching at them (yea Cristina it's soooo unfair), but as usual NOTHING will happen, and Argentina will just have to carry on crying.
Every time those Argy boys hammer in what they think is the last the nail, the corpse comes to life and kicks that coffin lid clean off. Now he's up and married a rather rich and attractive lady from the good old USA. Some funeral.
Well done FOGL, long way to go but keep up the good work.
@1 Pointing out that the UN Security Council is weighted against Latin America and Argentina simply encourages the siege mentality of that region and country. It does, however, neatly point to the fallacy of those who think that the UN is any friend of Argentina as opposed to Argentina having friends at the UN, whatever their [true]identity .
Well on previous form, Noble and everyone associated with it, including the US Govt, can expect a threatening letter from CFK saying they are going to be sued. I wonder what they will make of that?

”What a pity that this is an entirely British farm-in. This farm-in will serve to fuel Argentinian righteous indignation whereas an international farm-in would have been like another kick in the soft parts, following that from the Edison/EDF's farm-in to FOGL.
@11 So are you. Why have you not yet changed your name to sh*tonastick.? You have to admit that it's descriptive and accurate. Why not come out and paint us a personal picture? One ball? No balls? No dick? Are you a bender? Or are you depriving people of the pleasure of penetrating your b**t? Shame on you. Get out there, drop 'em and spread 'em. Go on, be noble, give your all. You know you'll love it. And you can give more. How about offering your throat for use? Don't just keep it for your fuc..... sorry, friends. You know what they say Suck it up!” Go on, be a sport, suck it and get shagged at the same time. Isn't that your idea of a happy evening?
@13 Thank you for reminding me of my wise words, which I stand by, but it's not my soft parts that have been assaulted as is clearly evidenced by the lack of comments from the totality (-1 and the half that is brito[n],.) of the usual crowd.
They are still looking for more money to pay up front. Not sure there are many ways left though. The crackdown on the greenback is not working so well. And their most lucrative theft thus far was stealing the privately paid for pensions of the working class. They may have to steal something really big.....I think they are looking to revoke BP's oil leases, they have tons of money to try and steal.
When the letter arrives it'll no doubt generate a chuckle before being thrown in the recycling bin.

Rivero Oil, Malvinas Oil and Gas, Peron Fuel, Fernandes-Chavez Hydrocarbons, .. I can see the letterheads now. Err, maybe one more, Timmerman Petro-chemicals. Maybe I should register these domain names!
And fresh from counting Tony Blair's shekels and Mark Thatcher's rand there he is again! He and his people must be waiting for an answer from their people on this one even though Roberta warned them months ago that unless they mended their financially cavalier ways this is what would happen.
