Russia joins WTO after for 18 years; Putin plans greater global role for Moscow

Russia's formally joined on Wednesday 22 August the World Trade Organization after having waited for 18 years. On July 21, President Vladimir Putin signed the final accession document approved by all WTO countries, a final step clearing the way for Wednesday’s formal entry. Read full article

    é uma boa oportunidade para os politicos Russos olharem para muitos paises membros OMC que existe democracia e quem construiu as democracias nesses estados democráticos foi a classe média e elas existem e funcionam

    #1 Well its interesting isn't it, the WTO obbviously see Putin's capitalist, post-Soviet Russia as “free” in the ways that matter to them! Surprised they didn't let Yeltsin in years ago, he was even freer with the market though he was actually just as authoritarian
