Unions representing 90% of Brazil's striking federal public workers have agreed to return to work on Monday, accepting tough terms set by President Dilma Rousseff, who insisted on putting fiscal discipline over the demands of her own political base. Read full article

    I've avoided commenting on these strikes up to now, I personally like DIlma very much and broadly support her politically, however I don't see the underhand influence of a Moyano in this situation, I think the workers are basically right and the government should probably have treated its base better on this one

    We are hijacked by the public sector in Brazil. It's not uncommon be insulted in public partitions when you ask for better attendance.
