The only lemon I know of in Argentina is currently outstaying her welcome in the Casa Rosada.

While not as good as 'banana' there is something inately humerous about the word 'lemon' that lends itself to comedy too. I assume that Argentina is full of lemons?

I do not think Argentina is full of Lemmons,I understand what you are getting about, but the main producing state is Tucuman, largest producer in the world, surpassing California,in 1998.Production over 1,3 millions tons, compared with 830,000 in California

Except that the proteccinist measures, dated way back, even when there was NO PROTECTION from Argentina. However,it is not a problem selling to Europe,Canada,etc......Strange that the USA,protect agriculture and does not protect industry, which is almost gone....Sugar is another protected industry in USA

Joel Bowman until recently resided in BsAs and puffed the country mercilessly even when things were really going down the toilet.

Bill Bonner has a ranch near to Salta and The DR has for a while been promoting Argentina to the disgruntled Americans!

I have taken The DR for five years and have made money following their advice on gold (up to a point). However, they seem to have got bigger and more aggressive with respect to wanting everybody to sign up to one of their deals and apart from Eric Fry they seem to be losing their grip on reality.

I’m not worth to reply because you cannot find a proper answer, mate.

“believe what you type and what you are feed for information”

Who is feeding me with information according with you?
    Herman Van Rompuy or Angela?

You are so wrong Argentina media is very pro US the thing is that I’m also European and we don’t buy that propaganda crap.

“Come to the USA......my treat and I will put you up and see for yourself.”

Why I should go to US when I can live much better in Germany, France, Norway or whatever I would like to go within EU?

Do you think that I’m any kind of “kamikaze” that being able to live in Europe I will chose Buenos Aires because is worse?

I’m really glad to live in Buenos Aires specially confirming what I was seeing in Europe some years ago.
I saw all these crisis coming, and the fantasy of what is to live on pure debt.

I have my own business, I own my house, I don’t owe a cent to any bank, I do whatever I want, etc...

So who cares if the GDP of US, Germany UK, Italy, are bigger than the Argentine?
    Are we in any competition?

What matters is what the country can offer to me and Argentina has a lot to offer if you can adapt to the Argentine culture. What is a mix of European cultures so very easy to adapt for a European.

I guess that for Americans is a cultural shock, who knows?

The only thing that I miss from Europe is the price of cars and Bikes.

    Well no place is perfect...

By the way do you have any proof of the existence of Mr. God?

You just saw the propaganda on CNN?

Or you are talking about Diego Maradona?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eZhBCqh8l8

God doesn’t exist Mr. Poppy sorry some one have to tell you the truth. Just a human ferry tale invented to impose fear and domination over weak people.

We like to do this kind of stuff in Europe...

70% of Argentines Disapprove of Populist Leader's Economic Policies
BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- President Cristina Kirchner's popularity has fallen dramatically amid worries of high inflation according to Argentine polling company Management & Fit. Just 30% of Argentinians approve of her handling of the economy, an approval rating that has continued to drop over the last year.
According to reports, growing public discontent is largely a result of economic contraction and soaring inflation, which has eroded purchasing power. The nation's statistics agency, INDEC, reported an annual inflation rate of 9.9% in July, but private analysts estimate it is running well above 20%. The Kirchner Administration bans the publication of independent economic data that conflicts with the Government's reports and formally suspended three consumer-focused NGOs this week after they published inflation data that differed from official statistics.

“Argentina's runaway inflation – now among the highest in the world – reflects the degree and depth of the Kirchner Administration's economic mismanagement. The Argentine people are still suffering from President Kirchner's mismanagement of the debt default and restructuring. The failure to repay the country's debt to private creditors has left the government effectively locked out of the international credit market and has discouraged foreign investment. Price subsidies and strict currency controls have added to the country's macro-economic problems.”

”It is no surprise that the President's popularity wanes as Argentina's real inflation statistics become known. These poll results illustrate that the majority of Argentines do not support the government's protectionist and isolationist economic agenda. In

poor Poppy he is desperate and being paid by Mauricio Macri?
Amateur in the media business and trying to make media political operations perhaps?
Trying to promote a site that none will read anyway?

1-Independentargentina com belongs to “Beatrice Murch” photographer living in Argentina and works as a proxi for Mauricio Macri. She is posting everywhere pictures of Macri.

Tons of articles following Mauricio’s political acts.

    She also worked for
“New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Latino Fox News, The Telegraph, Time Out Buenos Aires, Matador Network, BBC...
With North American and English roots, she has traveled throughout South America, and has made her home in Buenos Aires since 2006.”

    Now lets see the truth

1- “Dra. Patricia López Vergara aclaró la realidad de los fondos depositados por la Nación a la Ciudad por el manejo del subte”

Dr. Patricia Lopez Vergara clerared the reality of the founds deposited by the Nation (argentina) for the city of BA to manage the “tubes” (subtes).

2-“La Justicia ordena a Macri usar fondos depositados para subtes ... “utilizar” los
recursos que se encuentran depositados en una cuenta para el”

The justice ordered Macri to use the founds deposited for the tubes... and to use the resources that are available in the account for him.
