    Spain and UK are at the same category who have only macro level companies unlike Germany and France have both macro /micro levels companies..so they are behind of Germany/France at the competition arena let alone China/US/Japan/Korea.

    If you want to be powerful/prestigious country ,You have to have both levels companies that are Micro levels: consumption based..Macro Level companies : Energy,Infrastructure,Military etc.
