Soy supply in 2013 expected to be highly dependent on South American supply

A leading international consultant on grains and oilseeds estimates that Argentina’s soy crop could increase 38% to 56 million tons in 2013, a year when world supply will become more dependent on South America because of smaller inventories in countries such at the US and China. Read full article

    Kinda hard to plant crops when the fields are under water though... I wouldn't count the chickens before they are hatched!

    I think Argentina can increase their income by planting 50% less soy into the ground and planting more wheat.

    Wheat has export restrictions and internal price caps that is why farmers don't plant it.
