@1 It will certainly be a bloody hell for anyone who tries to take any of our Overseas Territories. They are being held in trust for the people that live there. Argies and Spaniards need not apply!

Shows how much you know Aussie sunshine. Oil tankers don't come to Gib, because Gib does not have a refinery... Get your facts right.

Erm Aussie sunshine, so if Gibraltar is prevented from bunkering then why would it only be the oil tankers “exiting” the bay? Why not the “liners” and all the other types of ships which come to take on bunker oil?

By the way, that Guardian article is inaccurate. Algeciras does not only bunker alongside, they also bunker from floating barges, AND Algeciras and Ceuta together bunker almost as much as Gibraltar and their business is growing fast and will soon overtake Gibraltar. These are all facts in the public domain.

Gustbury, 5000 make it onto the Ediburgh streets to show their support for independence. Out of a population of over 5 million Scots. I don't think the Union has anything to worry about...

Doesn't Gibralter have its own seperate parties? While the Falklands has a no-party system, like Gaddafi's Libya or pre-democratisation Uganda; I've always wondered, Islanders, is this because you don't want parties or are you not allowed to set them up?
