One step at a time Condorito. By next year we will have full trade relations again for beef. People want good cheap meat, and we got it.

Sorry guys but I think Paraguayan and Brazilian meat tastes horrible. Those warm weather cattle taste like buffalo meat, YUCK!!!! Give me Chilean beef any day.

Everyone has their personal taste. If we all liked the same thing we would be fighting over the same woman (or man if you are a woman).

Argentine beef is in a rough spot; export and production have dropped significantly. On the other had, Paraguayan beef reached higher exports than Argentina, which is absolutely ridiculous when you stop to think about it. Most of Paraguay's beef goes to Russia or Chile like the article states. In Chile, Paraguayan beef essentially replaces Chile's beef because Chile's is at another category and used for exporting to Japan and other specialty markets.

The reason you don't see Paraguayan beef in Britain is that we don't have a bilateral trade agreement for beef....yet.

It is a strange old world isn't it. We produce beef, that is too expensive for the domestic market, to sell in Japan, while importing cheaper beef from Australia.
