They left Britain in 1865 and moved as far as possible away from the United Kingdom rejecting their British citizenship and eventually becoming Argentinian citizens!
It is not fair to count them in the Argentine British expatriate community when by their own decision they decided to move to Patagonia and become citizens of Argentina!
Ironically the Welsh Patagonian's want more links with Wales now...maybe they regret their decision now the Argentine economy is a basket case!

We laugh at Argentina because although you are a great county with great resources and potential, you spend more timem trying to steal other people's land tahn trying to run your own country competently therefore a tiny government (FIG) with 3000 people can run its country better than Argentina, though to be fair Chile and Brazil do OK.

The less we depend on trade and tourism from Argentina, the better off we'll be. Even Venezuela is preferable as a trading partner, notwithstanding the distance and comedy-politics.
