When Argentina proposed a brutal 65% haircut to holders of its defaulted sovereign bonds in a 2005 restructuring, one argument the country’s officials used to justify the offer was that the country could not take on more debt than it could reasonably expect to pay. As painful as the loss might be, the argument went at least the new bonds the government would issue would be creditworthy. Read full article

If you “invest” in Argentina, you are effectively saying goodbye to your money as you know it. Argentina, under this CORRUPT and DEMAGOGUE president, Kretina, is NOT a place to invest a single cent of your money, because trust me, you will lose it. The only thing Argenitna is interested in is getting their hands on as much money as possible to finance the goverments CORRUPTION and MILLIONAIRES in the government. The disaster that Kretina has left us will be felt for many decades to come. We have to do everything possible to make sure she is out of power as soon as possible. STAY AWAY FROM ARGENTINA DON'T LEAVE A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY HERE YOU WILL LOSE IT. The quality of life here is HORRIBLE, even food is prohibitively expensive, crime is out of control, the criminals are supported by the president to reign terror on the people. AN END TO KIRCHNER SHE IS A CORRUPT CRIMINAL AND has destroyed ARGENTINA!

CFKC said as much to the world. “We won't pay our debts because it was the investors fault for putting their money in Argentina in the first place”. Does she ever think before she opens her gob?

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Who on earth would buy bonds from any entity associated with Argentina?

And how much “investment” has argieland secured for YPF? One dollar? Two? Will it end up being owned by the Chinese? Not the best people to whom it would be wise to turn round and say “We're expropriating what you thought you owned.” Tip for argies. When you can't see out of the hole you've been digging, stop! On the other hand, keep going. After all, we're standing outside waiting to bury you.

“The vast majority of provincial debt--around 7 billion dollars-- is subject to British or New York law.”

Is Argentina still a de facto colony?
