Brazil's former President Lula Da Silva blasted the protectionist measures of the developed countries and called for the alliance between businessmen from his country and Argentina's, as he highlighted that Brazil grows, but with a controlled inflation rate.
Argentine and Brazilian businessmen must learn to build alliances, we have to negotiate in order to build bi-national companies that could be able to fight with global enterprises in the market Lula da Silva stated during the first night of the business Idea Colloquium event held in Mar del Plata.
The ex president highlighted the success of his and Dilma Rousseff's governments, along with Néstor and Cristina Kirchner's, compared to the previous administrations.
He affirmed that the main challenge is to strengthen the structures that already exist in a planet that has an unequal distribution, and explained that when we talk about sustainable development, we speak about reducing poverty and unequal societies.

Before travelling to Mar del Plata the Brazilian leader attended a formal lunch with President Cristina Fernandez at Government House.
